I am a little annoyed that we didn't get to see how maul got back to mandalore. Last we see of him palpatine is torturing him, but then he's just free.

Something that always caught my attention in this scene... When, ever before throughout the Clone Wars, have we ever seen Ahsoka sense emotions of regular people through the Force? Sure, we see her connect with Anakin and sometimes Obi-Wan to get a gist of what's going on, but never with regular people. It's always words and body language with her, the Force augmenting her fighting rather than her perception. Having tunnel vision is one of her main flaws. So, when her eyes widen before she goes to remove Rex's helmet, it means that Rex's grief, rage, and bone-deep exhaustion was SO INTENSE that it was able to reach Ahsoka THROUGH THE FORCE enough for her to notice without even trying to look for it.

You gotta think about it, Rex been through a lot since the war started. After fives death we see how different he was since then, he was ready for the end of the war. He was ready to stop fighting and here seeing his own men trying to kill the allies in their fellow Jedi. He didn’t see them as Jedis he see them as friends even family. This broke him and he couldn’t hold back his emotions. When you see a man cry, he has reach his breaking point in life.

my favorite part about this scene was r2 going up to Ahsoka my least favorite part was when Ahsoka shut down Anakin its was just sad

Seeing a man as strong as Rex driven to tears is fucking rough man. And even then he tried to stay strong.
